Personal data protection policy

1. General

1.1. PRINTIGO respects and is committed to protecting the personal data and the personal privacy of each visitor/user of the Website. This Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) defines this commitment of PRINTIGO as it summarizes the data that PRINTIGO may collect or process, how to use them, as well as information on the actions that the Website user may or should take regarding the processing of the user’s personal information during the user’s visit to the Website.

1.2. The Policy may be revised and/or updated at any time and without notice. PRINTIGO shall post the current version of the Policy in order to inform the user, who will be deemed to accept the new Policy by continuing to use the Website or its services. For this reason, each user of the Website is requested to check the Policy from time to time.

1.3. The management and protection of the personal data of the user of the Website is subject to the terms of this section as well as the relevant provisions of the Greek laws on the protection of the individual from the processing of personal data as supplemented by the decisions of the competent administrative authority and European law (in particular Regulation 2016/679).

1.4. If a user does not agree with the terms of the Policy provided in this section, the user must not use the pages/services of the Website.

2. What data we collect

2.1. The user of the Website may, in principle, visit the entire Website and its individual sub- pages without revealing his/her identity and without providing any personal data. However, in order for the User to access and/or use certain areas or services of the Website and especially the online store, the User may be required to register to obtain a password and/or the collection and processing of personal data may also be necessary for specific purposes, as indicated in this Policy.

3. How we process data

3.1. PRINTIGO may keep a record and process the personal data of the user, disclosed through the Website. The collection and processing of personal data by PRINTIGO shall only be carried out with the User’s consent, who shall provide it voluntarily in order to have access to the above applications or services available through the Website.

3.2. The registration of the user’s data during his/her registration on the Website shall imply his/her consent to the collection, use and transmission of such data under the terms of this Policy. The User, however, will be further specifically and explicitly invited to give his/her consent thereto, accepting this Policy before completing the registration process.

3.3. In particular, the user shall accept and consent to PRINTIGO, under the terms of the applicable legislation as in force, to keep a record and process his/her personal data collected through the Website, for the purpose of the user’s access to the electronic applications provided, his/her service, the support and execution of the relationship between the user and PRINTIGO, as well as for statistical purposes and for the purpose of informing and promoting PRINTIGO’s services upon the specific consent of the user.

3.4. It is clarified that the personal data processed by PRINTIGO are exclusively intended to ensure the operation of the respective service of the Website and may not be used by PRINTIGO or any third party, without complying with the provisions of the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data processing, as applicable at any given time. PRINTIGO acts in accordance with the applicable legislation and aims to better implement good practice with regard to the Internet.

3.5. The personal data collected by PRINTIGO through the Website will be kept securely for as long as the user is registered on the Website or required for the purpose for which it is collected and will be deleted after the termination of the user’s relationship with PRINTIGO in any way or if the reasons for processing mentioned herein cease to exist, taking into account any obligations of PRINTIGO under the applicable legislation.

3.6. Apart from PRINTIGO, the recipients of the data in question may be any associated natural or legal person or any company associated with PRINTIGO that mediate for the promotion, support and servicing of the transactional relationship and only for the purpose of providing electronic communications services or the provision of any value added services requested by the user and always under the conditions of the applicable legislation. Unless expressly provided for in the Policy or required by law and/or the competent authorities (such as, but not limited to, competent judicial, police and other administrative authorities upon their legitimate request), PRINTIGO shall not otherwise proceed with the disclosure, communication, transmission, dissemination or any other form of disposal of any information provided by any user without the user’s consent.

3.7. The security of the personal data of the Website users is of paramount importance to us. PRINTIGO is committed to ensuring that it takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of users’ personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or destruction in compliance with applicable legislation on the protection of personal data. However, despite the fact that we make every effort to protect users’ data, PRINTIGO is unable to guarantee the security of the information provided on the Website as this is done at the user’s responsibility.

4. User rights

4.1. The user reserves at all times the rights provided under the applicable legislation for the protection of personal data (and primarily Regulation 2016/679) and under the terms and conditions thereof, namely:

– the right to be informed about the data we process

– the right of access to his/her data that we keep

– the right to correct them

– the right to delete them

– the right to restrict or object to the processing of his/her data

– the right of portability to another data controller or processor.

4.2. If the user objects to the processing of his/her data by PRINTIGO or wishes to withdraw his/her consent (previously given), PRINTIGO shall comply with the relevant instructions in accordance with its legal obligations, if given in writing. It is noted that the opposition or withdrawal of consent shall imply that PRINTIGO shall not be able to meet the purposes stated in this Policy. The withdrawal of consent applies only for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. PRINTIGO may process the data even after the withdrawal of consent only to the extent permitted by law in order to comply with its legal obligations and/or to defend its rights.

4.3. In case of exercise of one of the above rights, PRINTIGO shall take all necessary measures to satisfy the relevant request within the time limits provided for by law, informing the user in writing about the satisfaction of the request, otherwise about the reasons that prevent the exercise of this right or its satisfaction.

4.5. Also, each user has the right to address the competent supervisory authority (Hellenic Data Protection Authority), which examines written complaints in accordance with the instructions provided on its website (www.dpa.gr), in case he/she objects to the processing by PRINTIGO of his/her data.

5. Statistical browsing information

In some cases, technical information that is not personally identifiable may be automatically collected (e.g. not through registration) when a user visits or uses the Website. Examples of this type of information that may be collected include browser, computer operating system, domain name of the website from which it was accessed, and location.

6. Cookies

6.1. We use cookies for the correct operation of the Website and better navigation of the visitor/user of the Website, as well as for the better provision of PRINTIGO’s services.

6.2. Cookies are data files, which are transferred from a web server to the computer of the person visiting the Website. Cookies are an industry standard, are used by most websites and facilitate the repeated access and use of a particular website by users.

7. Our third party data processors

We use several third parties to process personal data for us. These operators have been carefully selected to comply with the legislation referred to in this document.

8. Data breaches

8.1. For any personal information stored in our database, all necessary measures shall be taken to secure it.

8.2. We shall report any unlawful breach of the database of the Website or the database of any third party data processor to any and all parties directly concerned as well as to the authorities within 72 hours of the breach, if it is obvious that personal data stored in an identifiable form have been stolen.
